Together We Stand
Worship is the ceaseless action of all humanity. For better or worse we all pour ourselves out in ceaseless praise and adoration towards created things and ourselves in idolatry or towards Jesus Christ in God glorifying worship.
At First Christian we like to think of worship in two ways: gathered, where we gather weekly to learn about Jesus and respond to him together, and scattered, where we spread throughout the city to seek God’s glory through the stuff of life.
Our gatherings are focused on proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus from the way we greet our community, the way we hear from God, respond in communion, giving, praising, and to the way we are sent out with purpose. We welcome you to come participate as we declare how Jesus has paid in full our debt of sin to God.
Believe with Each Other
First Christian Church is family of believers doing life together. Making time each week to gather together to fellowship and praise the Lord. We are a growing community with a place for the whole family.
And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.
How good and pleasant it is
when God’s people live together in unity!
